Despite Skyrim, I don't know much about the average dragon n

Although Skyrim is all about dragons, there's still so much I don't know or understand.

- Dragon cult times: As far as I got it, the land was divided between the dragons and their minions, and sometimes they were fighting against each other. Alduin certainly was the head of all this, but I wonder if it was just "Alduin and the bunch" or was there a hierarchy among them.

Apart from that, were there alliances or even friendship between dragons? Paarthurnax said that it would not trust another dovah, but Odahviing or Skakmat seem to be nice guys. I heard that in Dawnguard, there are two dragons fighting side by side, haven't played it yet...

- Dragons differing in strength: How common was a dragon slaying another one (and probably absorbing its soul)? Why does Alduin tell Paarthurnax that its powers have waned while its own have (obviously) increased? Were dragons different in their might right from when they ... appeared? In Skyrim, the lower level dragons are ridiculously weak whereas the strongest are incredibly tough.

- Death and getting revived: We all know that a dragon's soul more or less stays in place and the whole thing can be revived. While it's debatable if this also applies to Dovahkiins (see Uhttp://www.gamesas.com/topic/1434195-ustengrav-dragon-soul/, I honestly have no clue WHY a dragon soul stays on Mundus. Was Alduin the only one with the ability to bring a dragon back? And how do you do it? I'd guess the freshly revived dovah is as "strong" as how much of your own power you pumped into it - Is there anything said about that? The only thing I know that reviving is a "normal" dragon shout consisting of three words, unaivalable to the player.

To sum things up, I still know close to nothing about the daily business of a dragon. The only thing I'm sure of is that dragons shapeshifting into a humanoid form and wandering among mortals seems more unlikely than ever. It sounds like an Altmer shapeshifting into a rat and crawling through their nests.
