I'm having problems attempting to enable screenshots.

My game is installed to c:/Bethesda/Morrowind

So I go in to my folder and hunt down the Morrowind.ini file to edit and I find:

Morrowind.ini.baf and Morrowind.ini.bak

So naturally I open both of them and change the Screenshot Enable to 1 so I get:

Screen Shot Enable=1
Screen Shot Base Name=ScreenShot
Screen Shot Index=0

Save that and close it. Run Morrowind again and lo and behold it tells me screenshot is not enabled and to enable it to go into the general section of the Morrowind.ini blah blah blah.

So, my question is, what am I doing wrong? Why doesn't it work?

You should change it in "morrowind.ini". I think you have your file extension hidden.

Look for file by the name Morrowind with icon like notepad with gear on it.Open it edit in that.
Those files you edited were backups, not sure what backs it up.
