I'm not what ppl call "hardcoe" FPS gamer, but i can finish SP campaigns. I mean, mostly i've been playing Call of Duty series, and recently FEAR, Bioshock, and Ghost Recon, but Crysis 2 is so difficult for me. I can't explain how difficult it is to aim at enemies all the time. Far range, close range, they are all difficult to aim.

Am i just so used to CoD or is there something wrong with Crysis 2?

If anything this game can be easier to aim the CoD. The auto aim assist feature is so strong that you just have to be sort of lined up for your reticle to warp to the enemy!!! On the single player it's much stronger and thus easier, and for MP it's tuned down a bit however, listen carefully to this next part:

I King Crysis III deem most of the PS3 and Xbox elites mere manipulators of the aim assist functionality. The top players realize how strong the melee aim assist is, and they abuse it. The ones that actually choose to shot their guns instead of fist fighting are what you call SHAZERS ( Shame Enhance module, feline, lazer attachment). They are cookie cutter clones of each other, and all they are doing is dumbing the skill curve down to what is seen in the single player portion which you may notice has greater aim assist and hit detection.

Yes, too many people use Feline, although I disagree that the fact they are "cookie cutters" Also how are they dumbing the skill curve down to what is seen in the single player portion which you may notice has greater aim assist and hit detection Using "SHAZERS" (what you call em) does'nt provide you with better hit detection nor does it increase aim assist; In reality it only reduces recoil, ADS movement & makes them **** annoying to kill -_-
On top of that It require an significant amount of skill to fully utilize the feline to avoid getting killed by depleting its mag to quickly- Although the amount Of "SHAZERS" is infact VERY annoying (hopefully they fix laser for Crysis 3) You can counter this by going with a different load out

Cheers

It's just comes off like cookie cutter when you are in a lobby and see someone new for the first time that puts up an amazing score then they go up against u and you can see its the same exact thing from all these elite players:

ET3 , SE3 , AE3 + lasers plus felines. It's the same exact thing across both PS3 and Xbox. Yes I do believe they players show so little variation in their playstyle that it warrants the term cookie cutter. Yes I have played with AE3 on various weapons and can attest that it's a life saver in a game as laggy as this. It sort of compensates for the lag in a way. But more so over distances hit detection is unnaturally increased making the feline have a range greater then weapons like the Scar, Mk60, Scarab when they are not equally equipped with AE3. Now if you add a lazer, suddenly the feline CAN SNIPE ACROSS THE MAP. This throws off the weapon balance in the game, dumbing the skill curve down and forcing cookie cutters to pop up everywhere.
