Morrowind on PC, Controller Help?

Post » Tue Jan 01, 2013 4:03 pm

Got Morrowind, $5 on Steam. Dug out an old computer controller, fixed the anologs in it, plugged it in and voila! It worked. Same controls as Skyrim!

Except the camera. If I push the anolog left or right, it looks up and down, and if I look up and down it looks left and right. Just to be sure, I changed the invert-y-axis option, but it did not help it.

Any way to fix this?

Also, while I'm here, anyway to NOT have to start up Steam to play Morrowind?

ummmm....thats going to be a problem with your controller, not Morrowind.

Morrowind has very little controller support on PC, look into whatever program your controller uses on the PC, it sohuld have an invert or mapping option for the axis.

If Morrowind on Steam is anything like Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim on Steam, no. This is one of the reasons why many people do not like Steam. *waits for mirocu to show up* You can run it in offline mode, though.

Thanks for the answers, but "da mage" has a signature which just blew my mind.

If the universe is infinite, then somewhere there is an exact copy of you doing the exact same thing....not only that, there are an infinate number of you all doing the same thing........and then there are an infinite number of slight changes, each one with a different you.

Isn't an infinite universe fun?
