I've bought the German version of the game, and was quite happy with it, until I got to the vicinity of the Arlington Library (I believe, I know for sure that it was one of the Guns and Bullets skill book locations in the south), and the game crashed on me no matter what I've tried. I reinstalled the game, created new save files, started from the beginning etc. but whenever I went to that exact same spot again the game crashed on me.

Since I have the German edition I couldn't install the usual fixpacks (or at least I thought I couldn't).

I would like to install the game again do you know how I could solve the crash problem?
