I play through Dark Heart, destroy all the spore conduit, and head to the helicopter.
the flood with debris gets me and then it plays the animation where it says that it's 76% and that some protocol is needed.
and then after that animation the screen blacks out and nothing happens.
it's not frozen,I can still go to menu,although the menu is glitched and looks like this.

I've tried waiting for up to 10 minutes in case it was just loading slowly or something.
I've checked task manager and it says it's still responding, which obviously it is since I can go into that glitched menu.
I've tried lowering the settings,disabling the texture pack,disabling DX11,running in windows XP mode.

my specs are

i5 2500k
8GB (2 x 4GB) 1333mhz CL9 ram
GTX 480
TX650 power supply

so I don't think that's causing the issue.
I played through with MaLDoHD texture pack although I've tried running crysis without it and it still blacks out after that animation.

Nothings overheating.I closely monitor my gpu temps with MSI Afterburner while ingame and I have the gpu fan on 100% to keep it from going over 82 C on the core,and the memory temps and pcb temps are much lower.
The processor temp maxes out at 65 C typically although if its a hot day during gaming it'll go up to 70 C.so that's not causing issues.

I have the game patched to 1.9,obviously since I'm using DX11 and high res texture pack.

Any ideas on what to do or whats causing this?
