Pulse Grenades KILL Frame Rate with Shaders 3.0 Enabled

I just set bAllow30Shaders=1 in my FALLOUT.INI yesterday, as the graphics are vastly superior to the normal 2.0 shaders. Frame rates seem fine, except for one time: Pulse Grenades cut frame rates to single digits when they go off, especially if there are any other "light show" weapons going off at the same time, such as lasers from various robots and turrets.

This NEVER happened while I played with the 2.0 shaders. It only started with the 3.0 shaders enabled.

Has anyone experienced it and know a fix?
