My plan is to make a character who is a bit of a jack of all trades, in that he is well-balanced in stealth, combat, and magic. I do not want to use destruction ever. My plan is that magic is solely for the purpose of support. I want to use basically all illusion and mysticism for the purpose of trapping souls. My main plan of attack, I want to be able to attack from afar and get the sneak bonus, plus use poisons to deal even more damage in the case of a large group, so that I can quell their numbers quickly. After the surprise wears off, I need to be able to hold my own in melee combat, so I've chosen to use the sword and shield. I want to use exclusively light armor so I have more room for loot and it'll help me remain undetected. I have chosen to leave sneak and security out of my major skills because I figured they would level extremely quickly. Here is what I have so far:
Argonian
Intelligence/Agility
Major skills:
Alchemy
Blade
Block
Illusion
Light Armor
Marksman
Mysticism
My main concerns are whether light armor, blade, block, marksman, and alchemy are going to cause me to level too quickly. I could replace alchemy with acrobatics if needed, or replace something with speechcraft, however I will probably try to persuade all the shopkeepers I deal with in order to get the most money for my loot. Really the only skills I never plan on using would be conjuration, destruction, restoration, alteration, hand to hand, and heavy armor. I just want to know if I will be safe from the leveling problem with this class selection. Could you kindly help?
