So I've been playing FO: NV since it's release date and have somehow managed to talk myself out of a hardcoe character several times. I've beat the game in just about anyway I can think of and do not really have a preference at this point. I generally play on normal, but switch to hard in the later levels.

So my question to all of you hardcoe players is what is the best way to go about this. I prefer using guns(revolvers, lever-action rifles etc..) and light to medium armor. But I'm just unsure of the best build for this. What perks are actually needed? What weapons work this best? Stealth? S.P.E.C.I.A.L? What skills should I tag?

I have all the DLC's. I generally side with the NCR or Yes Man, and I don't plan on playing OWB or Sierra Madre at this point. I would really appreciate any input y'all could give. Any ideas or personal preferences are welcome. Thanks!
