The Compound Bow can be fired while Cloaked, at the cost of about 40% suit energy.

The Compound Bow has five arrow types: the Standard Spear Arrow, the Stun/Electro Arrow, the Explosive Arrow, the Super-Thermite Tip Arrow and the Hunter edition exclusive Recon arrow, which lets you tag your enemies in multiplayer. Along with these choosable arrows come three selectable draw weights that can be used in conjunction with these four different arrows to cater to a variety of playstyles.

It appears that the Compound Bow can be carried at any time, is given its own weapon slot, and cannot be dropped or exchanged for a firearm.
