Challenges with the the next TES(ConsolesQualityExpectations

Many seem to agree on that we are getting closer to the end of this console cycle. And no matter how annoyed PC-players(like myself) get about this fact, the game industry can't risk not taking this into account.
There's absolutely no chance we will see a new elder Scrolls game before the next gen of consoles.

The question is when will Microsoft and Sony release their new wonder-machines? And which one will be first?
Then the question will be: For how long do we have to wait to see a new TES? Remember that the devs need the new specs to be able to have a clue about how to program the next game.

Personally I am inclined to think about a timeframe up to 8-10 years. Beth would probably want to launch a Fallout game on this console gen(if they got time). Then there's this problem with the PS3. How will this affect Fallout? Will Fallout also be postponed to the next gen of consoles?
All this will affect the manpower needed to start programming for a new TES.

Another issue is the expectations. Beth needs to come up with something new for the next game. They have raised the bar so high with Skyrim, it would be difficult to plan ahead for The Elder Scrolls VI.
Which province? One province? Several provinces? Graphics AI?

So what's your thoughts on this? Positive or negative about the timeframe?

I'm thinking it'll be about 3-5 years before the next TES is released, and it'll most likely be released on the next-gen consoles. As for Fallout, I think it'll be released on the next-gen consoles as well.

My thought exactly, Fallout very likely to be a launch or early title in the next gen. I hope the next TES will come after 4 full development (no Fallout overlap) years. I want it to be better polished and the questlines more handwritten and less 'radiant'.
