Hello! I know I've posted in the "Mage Class" thread, but a bunch of other questions popped into my mind while I was mulling a few things over, so rather than clutter up a very informative thread, I thought I'd post my own to get some opinions.

I've not played Oblivion in six or seven months, so I'm coming back fresh and I've decided I want to travel Cyrodiil in the comapany of a pure Mage (with some sneak + daggers thrown in, possibly)

My question is, do you think a Dunmer under The Apprentice is a viable character? It seems like she would have a significantly lower magicka pool than the equivalent Altmer/Breton. How much of a problem would this be late game?
I'm not too keen on The Atronach, but if you can make a good case for it I'll certainly consider it.

As you might have guessed, I am pretty set on a Dunmer character, but I may (for once) play as a different race and use an Altmer under The Apprentice for the sheer power I imagine it would have, albeit with a significant weakness (which I don't mind).

I'm sure I'll have more questions for the knowledgeable people here, but that's all for now. Off to think up possible character names! Edit: As a matter of fact, the huge magicka pool of an Altmer Apprentice is rather appealing.
