I cant equip Daedric wepons for some reason, none of them. I can equip a Steel Broadsword but not a Daedric Broadsword. When I try to equip one it says "Your class cant use this". Does anyone know what is going on and how can I fix it?

I just started playing Daggerfall. My class is Knight (the preset class). My level is 2.

I picked these items up in a chest. PLEASE HELP
