Oh look, another RP Interest Check.

Hey guys. I play Skyrim quite often before I go to work. And when I'm at work, I tend to space out and think about everything besides work. I won't lie, roleplay and fanfic ideas for the Elder Scrolls take up 79% of that pondering time. And for the past week or so, I've been really unhappy about the vanilla-flavored civil war storyline. So I got to thinking, "What would be a bit more interesting than that?" And after a while, my imagination sort of got out of hand, so bear with me.

Here it is, my half-cocked roleplay idea that I've been half-slaving over for about half a week. It's more a collection of ideas that I would love help organizing, then a solid roleplay.

It's late 4E 203, and the Empire has more-or-less been winning the civil war in Skyrim. The only remaining Stormcloak holds are Winterhold and Windhelm. Imperial troops gather in The Rift, excited to end the civil war. The war in Skyrim has drained Imperial troops and morale, and dragged on for over two years now since the escape of Ulfric Stormcloak at Helgen. Meanwhile, relations with the Aldmeri Dominion have been even more tense than usual. Over the past two months, several minor skirmishes have broken out along Cyrodiil's border with the Dominion. The small clashes have yet to result in outright war, but diplomatic talks are quickly disintegrating, with Thalmor leaders accusing the Empire of sending raids on border settlements, repelled by opposite accusations from the Empire.

Anvil is lost again. The Dominion sweeps over the border and captures the city easily, calling it 'reperations for damage in northern Valenwood.' The Empire refutes the claim, and fighting ignites all along the border, and around Anvil. But this southern conflict isn't the point of my ideas. It is only the catalyst.

Nobody is quite sure where the fleet came from. Most agree that it must have taken a massive detour around Argonia and Morrowind, as it is the only plausible way it avoided detection. Others attribute the fleet's sudden arrival to magical portals in the far northern oceans, opened by Altmeri Wizards. Neither matters though.

A beaten, battered Skyrim is invaded by Aldmeri Dominion forces. Three armies, all of unknown size, but great strength and tactic. The first, and apparently largest, attacks Windhelm via the White River, and takes the city by surprise, seizing first the docks and then the rest of the city proper. This first army begins spreading over Eastmarch by way of the White River, using small troop transport ships to deploy warriors throughout the Hold, quickly and effectively crushing the Stormcloak capital.

The second army lands in Dawnstar, destroying the Imperial Fleet at it's port, and takes the Pale from the Empire with simliar ease to Eastmarch.

The third army strikes Solitude, and while it is unable to take the city, it places it under a heavy siege, cutting it off from the rest of the province.

I know, not a great amount of detail just yet. But trust me, I have a million little things I'd like to add here, but it'd quickly become a rant. What I'm looking for is general interest in this. I'd love to have one or two other people help organize this with me, and help with the roleplay itself. A couple of things I intend also:
-Two or three storylines within the roleplay, seperate but also related somehow. Like, one story set in Eastmarch, and another in Solitude, cutting back and forth between the two to keep things from getting stale.
-No Thalmor players please. The biggest weapon the Aldmeri Dominion has is mystery, and if somebody was to command one of these armies, it just wouldn't feel the same.

I really would love help with this. I know I'm sort of a noob on these forums still, but this just felt too good to not post up, at least to me. I'm also aware of a hole or two in the RP, like, "Wait, a whole Thalmor fleet just APPEARS? WUT." But I'm sure imagination with a bit o' logic can fill in said holes.
Anyways, this is a borderline rant now. So, I'll just set this bait out here in the water for ya. :)
