For...[censored]s...Sake. I got Fallout 3 last night (GOTY edition) from steam and played for about an hour just getting used to the controls (I've completed the game on xbox) and got out of the vault into the wasteland. I wake up this morning raring to start. I get to megaton and speak to moriarty and start the survival guide etc. About 1 hour in to my playing session and it's already frozen 3 times, calling for restarts. Anyway I begin the minefield quest for the survival guide, and see the electricity pylons and a power station (you probably know where i am headed) so i begin to follow the pylons, humming my way to the alien blaster until some random [censored] alert pops up and tabs me out. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this but when fallout tabs out, there is no tabbing back in. This forced me (after 15 minutes of trying to tab back in) to close the game completely and I was just stood in the middle of nowhere, it wasn't even saving or anything. I start fallout up again and the only. [censored]. Option is new game. *things are thrown, bethesda gets around 4 million cusses sent their way, and I make this account called Bethesda&Glitches* Now I haven't restarted my PC yet but I doubt that will do anything. And before anyone says these things I will answer them for you.

I know, I've played every Elder Scrolls game and most Fallout games. I completed New Vegas, yeah actually finished it, I actually had the patience to restart my xbox 500 times and finish New Vegas. (obsidian is owned by Bethesda so that argument is invalid)

"You were only 2 hours in? It's not a big deal"
Who in the name of [censored] really wants to sit through the beginning of an RPG twice in the space of 24 hours? Obviously I can do it again but I had a lucky day off today and want to use my time getting good weapons and getting past early game, not having to [censored] restart.

Anyway anybody know any cool mods like ones that help with freezing issues or ways to get me further in the game in a short space of time. Thanks for reading this!

My save files are in my Fallout folder? But not on the game, what should I do, the saves are right there!
