No Children...

Some would argue that no children is better than unkillable children.
I'd argue that. In the game "Bad Day In LA" kids were immune to damage, and also un-target-able by the player; However, it was still possible to accidentally get them injured with splash damage. When that happens, you have invulnerable kids with an infinite attention span attacking you relentlessly until death if you don't manage to escape them.

You must have never known the pains of going through Little Lamplight, oh god the horrors...

Every moment I felt like rampaging because of the pricks treating me like dirt and acting like tough stuff...

I don't know, when I first met Macreedy, I laughed out loud.

I liked the cut of his jib.

That princess though...

But I too, thought there should be children in OB.

Fallout 3 was great, except that children always annoyed me all the time, and I couldn't do anything about the little pricks. And it does not make sense that in a wasteland, little kids are invincible and carefree, and ANNOYING!!!

Little Lamplight made me want to rampage on them, and random encounters with them svcked. Most people have never had a good encounter with a child in Fallout 3...

I propose that children be removed from Fallout New Vegas, they are only a headache and only cause problems. If they are killable it will cause morality issues and whatnot. No just get rid of them from Fallout in general, they should not exist in the dire wastelands.

I hope this gets support, because children do not belong in Fallout. They never did, and never will...

.
If you don't like children, get the PC version, download the Killable Children mod, install it and then kill every single one of those demons.

The kids in Little Lamplight were rather amusing at first but soon got annoying. Then again I only ever went there to do the mission and that was it.

Personally I think the kids should stay. Yeah sometimes they got on your nerves, but they do add a nice touch of realism to the game.

I think it would be nice to add creepy children's voices or crying when your in dark areas tho! Never fails to creep you out. :)

That would be pretty cool. For instance a mother is worrying about her child that ran off to Lamplight. You go there to find that the place has been raided by, what else, raiders. When you enter the cave you hear the screams of children. Next thing you know you walk into a room to find out that the two factions have formed a pact and were playing cards. Complete WTF moment.

I'd rather argue unkillable children are better than almost exclusively obnoxious and annoying important unkillable children. Really, this whiny Them! boy and most of all THE MAYOR were so.... gnngggghhhhh.

Discussion of child killing is a prohibited topic on these forums, and whilst the topic stared in a constructive way it has now taken a turn towards wanting it and recommending where to get the mods.

Closed.
