Please change Crysis-3 HUD back to how it is in Crysis-2

Please change the HUD in Crysis-3 back to how it is in Crysis-2. The HUD in Crysis-3 is WAYYY too screen-hogging (ie. it hogs-up the screen too much), and it's really not necessary to show in the "HUD" the weapon (or should I say the "type of" weapon. Or even - to describe it in a better way - a miniature picture [or "icon"] of what-weapon-you're-currently-carrying-in-your-hands in the HUD), because you can already see it up front and personal (ie. unless you're blind, you can very easily see (especially in a "first-person"-perspective videogame) what weapon you (the character/player) is carrying).

The Heads-Up Display (ie. "H.U.D.") in Crysis-1 was already fine enough. In Crysis-2, it was made somewhat better in a couple of ways and somewhat worse in a couple of ways (it was made "better" because they made it a bit "cleaner", and/or more "streamlined" and/or more "easy to understand" (for those that were jumping from Crysis-2 (their first Crysis game) to Crysis-1 (their SECOND Crysis game), but it was made worse because they removed the health-bar (that made you be able to very-easily see how much health you (the "Nanosuit guy". Taking a [slightly-modified] quote from one of the Marines in Crysis 2) had left, WITHOUT-having-to-depend-on the "blood appears on your screen"-aspect-part of [what is now on] almost all first-person-shooter videogames).

In Crysis 3 the HUD has gotten way too darn big; each of the two screens (especially the ones at the bottom-left and the bottom-right--hand corners) have gotten too convoluted and too "cram-up the screen"; you don't need to make the "MINI-map" bigger; it was already fine how it was in Crysis 1 (or even, how it was in Crysis 2) -- and honestly, one of the things that I was missing in Crysis 2 from Crysis 1 is that you could see a "much larger map" (ie. the "tactical"-map) [of your current area (ie. of the area where you were currently at)].

Likewise, the "shows you what weapon you currently have available; details, aspects, and/or features as to the current-weapon you are holding; how much ammo is left in your current ammo-clip; how much ammunition is left [in total] for your current weapon; how much energy do you have left; what suit-module/suit-"power" (ie. Speed, Strength, (now - in the Nanosuit 2 - that both have been combined to make one "Power" suit-module/suit-aspect/suit-feature), Cloak, Armor) you have "on" / "enabled"; etc. etc.
It was fine in Crysis 1, and I understand why you changed it to the way you changed it [to] in Crysis 2 (in Crysis 1 "Speed", "Strength", "Armor", and "Cloak" were all separate, and so, you had separate "icons"/"indicators" for each suit-mode. However, in Crysis 2, "Speed" and "Strength" were combined into one suit-'power' (or to be more specific: "suit MODULE") called "Power". (And I also understand [another reason] why you were changing the suit-HUD from how it was in Crysis-1 to how it was in Crysis-2: in Crysis-1 you were using the "Nanosuit 1.0". In Crysis 2 (and -- from what we understand so far about the beginning of Crysis 3) you are using the "Nanosuit 2.0" -- which is, as Jacob Hargreave said, the "crème de la crème" of Nanosuits; the "pinnacle" of Nanosuit technology; his "masterpiece"; the "one thing that can fight against [and/or defeat] the Ceph" (may he rest in peace). And honestly, he was right; frankly, (with certain exceptions of course. Like, for example, having the "health"-bar meter [in the HUD] and the "tactical map" and the "you can run much faster in the Speed-mode in Crysis 1 than the Speed-mode in Crysis 2) I would have rather had the Nanosuit-2 in the Lingsham Islands than the Nanosuit 1. (However, we all (at least, the ones that have played any of the games before Crysis 3 (yes, I'm including "Warhead" and the other Crysis-games and stuff added to the mythos) and/or understood the story of the Crysis-1 and Crysis-2 games) understand why the Nanosuit-1 was the one used in "Crysis 1" (ie. the Lingsham Islands) instead of the Nanosuit-2).

Anyways, to show you more evidence of this (of what I mean as to why [and how] the "Heads-Up Display" (ie. "H.U.D.", also written as "HUD" [by some people]) is so convoluted and/or "screen-hoggy"), I've attached several pictures that I think you should look at:

Crysis 1 Heads-Up Display: http://www.randoanimals.com/crysis_tweaked_ssao.png

Crysis 2 Heads-Up Display: http://gamingbolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Crysis-2-SP.jpg

Comparison-pictures of Crysis 1 HUD, Crysis 2 HUD, and Crysis 3 HUD, all next to each other, so you can see it very clearly [without having to switch from one picture to another] the differences between the 3: http://i46.tinypic.com/if0p09.jpg

Second picture of Crysis 3 HUD: http://mp1st.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/train_bow_1080-618x347.png

As you can see (especially by the second picture of the Crysis-3 HUD (ie. http://mp1st.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/train_bow_1080-618x347.png)), the Crysis-3 HUD severely hogs the lower-bottom of the screen (if not the rest of it (we (the gamers/players, that do not work at Crytek) have not seen the rest of the HUD elements yet, so we do not know how much more (other than what I've mentioned already) has been changed [in the Nanosuit-2] from Crysis-2 to Crysis-3); it also hogs the bottom of the screen so damn much that, unfortunately, a great deal [and/or a majority-of] the weapon you are using is obscured by this new "bigger" and "more 'convoluted'" Heads-Up Display.

I kindly ask that you [at Crytek] please change-back the Heads-Up Display in the Nanosuit-2 to how it is in Crysis 2. And yet, there is also another reason why the Heads-Up Display should not be changed: There have not been (at the very least to-our-knowledge) done any upgrades to the Nanosuit-2 between the 20-or-so years that have occurred between (in the storyline, obviously. We all know that 20-something years have not passed [in-real-life] between the time of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3) Crysis 2 and Crysis 3. Ontop of that, Karl Rasch would not have had the technology to do any upgrades and/or modifications (unlike Jacob Hargreave) to the Nanosuit-2 because he left the company (remember what Jacob Hargreave said? That Rasch refused to take the path that Jacob Hargreave chose: not "physically-die" and be (I'll use his own words) "Almost fifty years floating in supercooled jelly like some medical specimen, thoughts creeping like rats through cramped silicon corridors of machines trapped behind video screens and camera systems. Never sleeping, never resting, never ceasing to think about the world I no longer belong to.") (Of course we find out later (at the end of the game, to be more precise) that Rasch is STILL alive (which leads us to believe that he probably ended up choosing the same (if not a similar one) path that Jacob Hargreave chose)) (However Rasch [most likely [and/or probably] would not have taken any of the stuff [and/or technology] necessary to work-on, do upgrades-on, and/or do enhancements-and-repairs-on, the Nanosuit-2 like Jacob Hargreave did).

Ontop of that, we see that the "Tunguska Iteration" did not do ANY modifications and/or upgrades to the Nanosuit-2 (at least not to the HUD. It only modified the spore that the Nanosuit-2 had managed to isolate [and therefore stop from harming Alcatraz] when the Ceph he encountered tried to inject it into him), because we see that the Nanosuit-2 HUD was still the same even after Alcatraz injected the "Tunguska Iteration" syringe into him.

Therefore, I consequently and kindly and politely please ask that you please change-back the Nanosuit-2 HUD to how it is in Crysis-2, as opposed to keeping it to the "extremely convoluted, screen-hogging, and 'crams-almost-the-whole-bottom-of-the-screen'"-look to how you have it in Crysis 3.

Many thanks for your time and patience in reading this post and message, and for your consideration in changing back the Nanosuit-2 HUD to how it is in Crysis 2.

P.S. To all readers reading this: Please feel free to leave your signatures, posts, and/or comments in reply to this thread, and/or your signatures in response and/or in-reply to anyone who would [also] like for the Crysis-3 HUD changed-back to how it is in Crysis-2.

Also, I have added a poll. I did not know what other options to put in the poll besides "yes" or "no" options (to keep it simple for the people taking the poll and so they wouldn't get confused) (you know how very-easily people get confused nowadays), but, feel free to take the poll, AS WELL AS, add your replies, comments, posts, signatures, and/or opinions [to this post], the Crysis-2 HUD, and/or the Crysis-3 HUD, if you want.

Remember that between all of us, we can help make a better game.

How about another redesign, the C2 one was a bit washed out and not really separate from the environment, this one is more separated but meh, not that different, I miss the health bar, even an rough one would be nice so you can make a decision better, should I try to fight this guy head on(not with the aim assist tho) eyc

i second that. personally, i too found that the Crysis-2 HUD looked more "washed out" (like if someone literally threw a bucket of water on it) than how it is in Crysis 1. likewise, you can see it better in the "gameplay" videos on Crysis's YouTube page:

the HUD looks very "washed out" in the gameplay videos for [what Crytek says is the gameplay on] XBox and PS3 (XBox: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UUrXPZcKh0 , PS3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiH_PSB3ocY ) but it looks perfect [and not "washed out" AT ALL] on [what Crytek says is the gameplay on] PC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96cmZKlgAag

I wish that this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96cmZKlgAag) is how it was ALL-the-time when I played Crysis 2.
