I've owned Fallout 3 GOTY edition for a couple of years now. I recently have wanted to install it on my newest rig which I built myself. From everything I've read, I'm above specs. However, every time I try to create a new game, I get sometimes to the "splash of blood" part or sometimes it will freeze before even loading that. I don't know what else to do. I have no mods, because I haven't gotten the game to run. It's on low quality for everything. Vertical sync is off both on my graphics card and the game. I've installed the DLC, I've installed the Unofficial Fallout Patch and everything. I've even fixed the compatibility to Windows Vista. So far nothing seems to work. Please help?

Did you install the latest version of GFWL? From the GFWL website?

Also, turn off the UAC if the above does not work.
