But there comes a time when you just need to stop ranting. It's driving me crazy, every topic ends up filled with users picking apart absolutely everything about the new Fallout's (but in particular 3). First and foremost, of the top of my head, seem to be the Enclave being in the CW and vault 87 complaints. Both of which are plausible and in the case of vault 87, given a decent enough explanation. Hell 5 minutes ago I clicked on a thread that was simply about picking your favorite Fallout 3 song, I scrolled down and discovered the whole thread had just turned into a 'The Enclave radio station in Fallout 3 is unrealistic and a plot hole' thread.
Why are you all holding onto the complaints? Why are you unable to accept these things? Are they really destroying the Fallout universe for you and rendering Fallout 3 unplayable?
After the lore you get complaints about how unrealistic Fallout 3 is. Some of them are justified, some are just ridiculous nit picking. But as another user in a different thread said, these games are not realism simulators. They are not going to 100% accurate to real life ever, none of the Fallout games will. An entirely realistic video game, is not a fun video game, and making a video game the size of a modern Fallout 100% realistic is 100% impossible.
Of coarse you are all entitled to your opinions and nothing I say will change your minds. But can you at least put IMO (in my opinion) before some rant about Fallout 3/Vegas e.g. "IMO that was the only good thing about Fallout 3" (heard this one so many times, only without the IMO of coarse).
Oh and sorry if this is this wrong forum to post this, I wasn't sure.
