I'm a 20 year plus PC gamer (yep Atari 800 & Commodor 64!) and over the last eight years have been heavily involved in and created various PC gaming communities.

The trend I have been noticing with recent FPS PC releases (last several years) is a move away from dedicated servers to game lobbies similar to the consoles (i.e. Modern Warfare, Far Cry 3, etc.). This is a killer for the PC gaming communities and definitely impacts gameplay.

Old Dudes Gaming community is really enjoying Crysis 2 and are really looking forward to Crysis 3. Having watched the footage that came out today we are even more excited. I am noticing some grumblings in this forum so I thought I would get on and just say the game looks great, fun, and most of all thank you for supporting the PC gaming community with dedicated servers.

Now if you could add the icing on the cake by giving us a robust ADMIN server tool and an effective VOIP system so we could work as a team you would be batting 100%!!

Old Dudes Gaming has two servers rented and we are raring to go so join us 02/19 on either our Seattle or Chicago server and let's have some fun.

Doesn't seem to work to well in Crysis 2 hopefully it will be improved upon for Crysis 3.
