The gamesas forum seems to have a systematic issue in which after some length of time the cookies/cache become fubared resulting in the following issues:

Login issues where if I click the sign-in button, it indicates I am logged in however, if I click anywhere else for the forums or threads, my log in doesn't carry over. When I try to sign in, by clicking said sign in button, I do not get prompted to sign in but instead go to my signed-in profile.

Alert issues range as well. At one stage the user would not see any alerts when they, in-fact, should. The more common issue is that the alert indicator updates correctly, but when the pull-down menu is activated shows 'All Alerts Read' when they obviously have not.


Sure it's not uncommon to have login or dynamic data issues from time-to-time, however, this seems to be a systematic problem with the gamesas boards. It is starting to aggravate me to either nuke my entire cache and cookie system or take extra time to surgically remove all things gamesas in order either participate or enjoy the full-features of the boards. I have been able to replicate this issue on a number of browsers and platforms (Firefox and Chrome on Windows, FireFox on OSX, Chromium on Fedora 17, and Boat Browser for Android (gamesas doesn't even load on the standard Android Browser). This replication indicates that it's not a specific platform or browser problem, but a gamesas problem.
