I'm went to that island that I don't remember the name (the one of DLC), and I found a lot of precious items... But the woman who buy them was killed by someone (?), so I can't sell them for someone, and they are very heavy to carry. So, if I left them inside someplace, like a chest, closet or a box, and come back to take them later, it will still there?

Most containers in the game do not restock or respawn right away, but over time, so they are safe, for a while. So, go back and get your stuff.

What is not safe are containers that are marked in Red when you look at them. Those are owned and can mark any item you put in there as stolen when you take it out, along with the Karma loss from stealing.
