Most likely not. This is due to console-itis.
The game has reached a peak that cannot be surpassed because then consoles would not be able to handle it. There is a reason Crysis 1 actually looks nearly as good as Crysis 3. Aside from some lighting engine changes the games look quite similar. When you develop for the lowest common denominator to make more money (IE the 360 and PS3) you limit what you can do in games. That's why the first Crysis had a big open world feel to it, was a revolution in FPS gaming. Following installments have you traverse a linear path through the game. After playing the beta yesterday it's quite apparent.
UI, feel, maps, weapon upgrades and ranks, all appeal to the casual gamer. This title will be something anyone can pick up and play well within 10 minutes. And that's exactly what EA wants. This game could have been everything we would have liked no doubt, but it would have been a PC exclusive high skill ceiling shooter that would have ended up losing million in sales for EA. And that is exactly why it will never happen. Exactly why no major AAA title will do anything revolutionary until we get new console hardware to pander to.
tldr, no game will look same.
