Why this forum section is that different from Skyrim general

Post » Thu Jan 31, 2013 5:32 pm

What I mean is, it seems like we have completely different types of players here and there.
In Skyrim GD people usually protect much of the "casual" stuff which was added, while here in Fallout Discussion, players seem to be much more oldschool and hardcoe-oriented, and there is less difference in opinions here. I don't think I'm the only one who noticed this.
To be honest, because of this, I have more hopes for the new Fallout than TES series.

Because Skyrim is the newer game and there are more "casual" players floating around the forum. All of the more casual Fallout fans are long gone. If you look at the Oblivion, or especially the Morrowind forums you'll find the same types of people. Once TES VI comes out (won't be for a long while) you'll see the same thing in the Skyrim forum.

Also remember that the forum only represents maybe 1% of the community, so.

You should try thehttp://www.gamesas.com/forum/26-the-elder-scrolls-series-discussion/ for more "oldschool" TES opinions. It's natural that in Skyrim General there are more new players who prefer Skyrim.
