Soo..am running the game with OOO and maskars oblivion overhaul.. new charecter just lvl1 i decide to explore the wilds around anvil...I reach a ruin bit north of the city near the Aylid wells and see 5 bosmer rangers..My first reaction is to run off into the city..i run into the gates...the two guards at the gates are quickly killed with everyone outside, then they head into the city and kill every damn person alive in there including the guards while i hide in the corner watching. at last every one in anvil is killed except the once at the docks then i get killed...could ntoget a save file..ill try to recreate what happened and post some screenies....

Sounds to me you should have fought them

It's always seemed to me that OOO makes the Gold Coast region the hardest region in the game. I have tried to start a few of my OOO games in Anvil with alternate start mods and my characters always got their butts handed to them on a silver platter. With OOO those Gold Coast enemies can be mighty tough.

Bruma is just as bad. There's always the chance to walk out of the north gate and right into one of those frost minotaurs.
