Steam requirement = NO BUY

Post » Sat Mar 27, 2010 6:02 am

I refuse to buy ANY game that requires any kind of internet activation especially Steam or Securom. So that's at least 5 lost sales as my friends share the same principles.

Who makes these stupid decisions over there? Do they have no idea what the legit customers want?

And Steam>GFWL so yeah.

It's not like it requires a constant internet connection... Just once for the download, after that you can run Steam in offline mode. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if you don't have to run the game through Steam at all to play it once it has been downloaded.

It could be much worse.

Fallout 3 didn't have internet activation. FNV will have. GFWL was purely optional in FO3.

Plus there's already an official Steamworks thread made specifially for threads like this to not spawn, so go there and tell us this.

Alright, let me put it this way. The pre-GOTY DLC sold pretty well. And having experienced both G4WL on PC and Steam, I'll take the Steam thank you.

Good point SavageBeatings.
