Unnecessary Violence II Help Request

I'm not particularly new to modding Oblivion, but I'm not all that experienced either. I mostly just putz around with mods, read everything, and backup a lot. I've found Unnecessary Violence II to be a lot of fun, and despite the occasional issue where my character stops doing the "climb" animation (resulting in my Orc elevatoring up the side of a building instead of spidermanning up), the common "freeze in place" glitch that is fixed with the use of the UV attack key, it is incrededibly fun.

Until I realized that I had yet to see anything cool. I played as an Orc specializing in Hand-to-Hand and heavy armor. The kicks look great and are awesome, but due to my low acrobatics skill, I cannot do any of the cool dodges. I'm working on increasing that skill, so that's not my issue. My problem is that when I maxed out heavy armor and hand-to-hand, aroudn level 20ish, I started using an axe. Ebony war axe and shield. Now I'm dual-weilding. But regardless, the issue remains. I have yet to see a single decapitaion, arm chop, impaling, or anything along those lines. Now, my issue. I increased the crit chance in the ini, gave myself the spell that allows me to do auto-crits, and then tried it. First hit, my game crashed to desktop. Okay. I remove the spell, get back on, try again, no crash, no decap/chop/cool thing, even after several levels fighting bandits. they just die like normal. I start using the bullet time skill, increasing my crit chance, but now, every once in a while, it'll crash. (there was one funny time where I popped into bullet time and swiped at the back of a beggar's head, and he dodge rolled in slow motion under my swing and came up behind me, but that is neither here nor there)

I think that UVII crashes my game each time I score a critical hit that would normally cause a neat effect.

My question to the modding community is this.

Can I determine the issue? Can I resolve the issue? Is this possibly a mod conflict? If so, should I post my mod list? I don't have TOO many mods, half of them are texture mods, a few added content mods, and UVII, plus all the unofficial patches. What is my next step?
