Hi,

bought FO3 GOTY today and was eager to install it... but seems like it wont let me.
When I insert Disc1, my drive does its job for a few seconds (without hitting maximum RPM like usually) and then keeps quiet. Explorer reveals that there supposedly is no disc in the drive, no icon, no Fallout label, nothing.
Inserting Disc2 reveals the usual icons, etc and it contains 3 items (so it isn't actually a mislabeled Disc1).

OS: WinXP SP3
Drive: NEC-2500A

Disc1's surface doesn't show any cracks or anything.
I do not have any emulator software installed.
The disc wont load in windows safe mode either.
Every other disc runs fine.
I do not have any other drives around to test the disc on them.

Tried the troubleshooting section, but havent found anything that concerns my problem; i.e. recognizing the disc.

Any clues what it could be? SecuRom giving me the not-so-polite-finger?
