Of course tradition says go and get it for the PC since that is of course what I played the original Crysis on, but since then I did go and buy C2 for my PS3 and was quite surprised at how good the visuals were on my 52 inch TV, infact probably the best I have seen on the PS3!

Since then I have bought a gaming laptop, a Asus G74 with a GTX560M 3GB video Card, 8GB of DDR 1333 Ram, and a i7-2630QM Quad Core processor, which I have had for about 6 months. I went back and bought C2 when there was a sale on Steam and found it ran pretty well on my laptop, Gamer Settings in 1920X1080, however I am worried that C3 won't run anywhere near as well since it has bigger open environments?!

Even if I can run C3 in 1920X1080 which is my screens native res, is the fact that I will probably have to turn down details and turn off other features, enough reason to just go and buy the PS3 version of C3 knowing it has already been optimized for the hardware?

I don't want to turn my back on the PC version, but if i runs anything like Farcry 3 where I have to turn things down just to get 30fps then I am not sure if it is worth it?

Any ideas or suggestions?

(Would be great if they re-released C3 on the PS4 taking advantage of its extra grunt)
