I'm in the cathedral and i open the door with lockpicks then select the stairs to go upstairs and it just goes black and i get an error like fallout.exe has stopped working.

anyone know what's wrong?

Which door are you lockpicking to open?

Could try to just find one of the red or black radioactive symbols to open the door. You can steal it off the people there. Red opens the first door and black the other door if I remember right.

I have the red one and the door is on the first level with the entrance to the interior of the building and has lots of robbed people looking at screens.

Ohh thank jesus tired 4 different saves and it finally worked.
I nearly had a mental break down lol.

But what door was it? Was it the main hall area with the movie screen and the door that takes you into the tower area? Or was it passed that?
