You know your playing to much Fallout (1, 2, 3, NV) when...

I had a dream I was being attcked by a two Wanamingo's (I'm playing Fallout 2 for the first time). I raised my arm to access my Pipboy and to my horrific surprise it was not equipped. It was stored away in my inventory. How could I be so stupid! I was so scared I woke up not screaming but making a strange sound and woke up my spouse. I was too embarassed to tell her why this morning. Anyone else have a similar occurence or other situation they want to share?
