I think the economy in this game is completely broken

The reason I feel this way is because how damn expensive some of the things are in this game. I am a veteran fallout player. I'm not trying to boast I'm just being honest. So with 300+ hours in Fallout 3 and 100+ hours in new vegas with my first playthrough I know how the game should work. And I just recently picked up the Ultimate Edition of this game and I see that some of the new weapons from the Gun Runners Arsenal add on are like 27k or more caps. WTF. This isnt Sim City or some kind of game where money is that damn expendable this is FALLOUT. Money is scarce and its more about survival so why is everything so damn expensive? And i've played about 11 hours on my current playthrough and I just now hit 8k caps (which is basically pocket change in this damn economy) without any glitches or anything. So i'm just saying that its not particularly fair to make things that expensive. This is game and I wanna enjoy it but just like the real life economy its kinda hard when things are priced so damn high. Fallout 3 economy was fine nothing was hardly ever over 2k caps in the market. But I guess I have to respect the setting New Vegas is set in and that it is more of a rich society place or whatever. But still. I strongly dislike the way Obsidian did this and its honestly my biggest complaint of the game. so yea i had to vent..mmk bye

Lol no. You have no freaking clue.

Keep playing. Try 10 luck in casinos, try Dead Money. Then come back and tell us items are too expensive. At any rate, FO3 with it's 2000 cap economy definitely isn't a good reference point for New Vegas and it's 1,000,000 cap economy.
