Hey folks, hoping somebody can help me out. I've been trying for 30+ minutes to access this elevator thing that's surrounded by a bottomless pit. The objective is something like "Head to the control room." I've killed everything in the area, looked for anything to use or do with my binoculars, and tried jumping the gap, but nothing's clicking.

If you could offer any suggestions, would be much appreciated.
