So I found the Scorpion Burrow last night after not knowing it existed for 500 hrs. of gameplay. The Scorpion Queen was cool but easy with the MF Breeder Alpha. So I start looting the bodies and one of the dead wastelanders has none other than 5 Sierra Madre chips! How in the world is this possible? I'm on X-box 360. Are there other things like this? Is it a glitch? Awesome find for me. <3 Fallout

DLC hint? I never found the one you are descibing myself, but I know there are posters of Vera in East Pump Station and New Canaan references on the road to the Mojave Outpost, not to mention the conversation about Ulysses. Cool find!
