Me and a couple of friends have been having issues with the 360 controller in the multiplayer. It is difficult to aim, and the 3 of us are experienced fps gamers. We have tried just getting used to it, but we shouldn't have to. It just feels so messy!

There is no aim assist. I suggest you use a kb+mouse.

Nice to see other players who use the controller. I've gotten used to it somewhat. I just keep my distance and keep my sensitivity low. I run with the fy71 with a scope sight, muzzle break, and foregrip. There really is poor support for the controller on here and I'm sure pretty soon there'll be plenty of pc elitists on here spewing **** about the kb/m being superior. Well I'll have them know that I've come in first in tdm 9 out of ten times on the winning team. It's all about how you play. I don't camp, I play aggressively. I hope they patch this issue soon though because I would like to use one of the lmg's in cqc.

I'm far from experienced, I just crash on my sofa to play with a gamepad (Saitek Cyborg Rumble Pad V.5) and feel some aim assist options should be there.

It's fine if you like using a gamepad, not faulting you for that. But aim assist? No, not in MP.

Like I said, I use a controller when i don't feel like sitting at my desk. I still do pretty well though. Usually I do 25/10 with a kb/m and with a controller I do about 25/20 ish. So not much worse. i just change up my play style. I think it's naive of pc gamers to shut out controller users. The pc is the best platform to game on because of it's versatility. For you people to come on here and dog people for using a controller are very ignorant people. Why does someone have to be a console noob for liking the controller? I actually use a controller mouse combo on bf3. It's far easier to press a direction on a d-pad then it is to hit 3 or 4. Thanx to xpadder I get the convenience of the controller and the accuracy of the mouse. I love it. try that guy. Go to google and look up xpadder free download. Then go to youtube and look up battlefield bad company 2 xpadder tutaorial to get you familiarized with the software. What I do is map my jump and reload to the L1 and L2 triggers. Then just map whatever you like to the d-pad. For bf3 I leave it at default so I keep the default layout for the med kit and paddles. Or whatever. Try it out see what you think. As for you pc elitists screaming kb/m, **** off already.
