Crysis 3 Campaign Sound Issue

Post » Sat Feb 23, 2013 6:05 am

On the second mission in the game, the sound is horrific. So much static and sound lag. It only really happens when a lot of action is occurring. Most of my friends have the same issue I was surprised no one posted about this here. Crytek look into it please.

the same here
in the third mission, when you walk into an open location. I tried to return to the dashboard and back, the audio fix but do not know for how long.

Yea... someone suggested check your audio connections.. doing so pretty much verified what we already knew. The sound files are pretty much boned. I hope an update comes out soon to adjust the issue because it completely takes away from the game at this point.

Having the same issue. So I don't think there's any possible way it's our connections :P. Hopefully there's no issues in MP, so I can just play that until they fix it. No point in playing a campaign when you can't understand the story line.

Same here. Started right when Psycho and I approached the big field you have to cut through. I waited till the cutscene was over, kicked out to the dashboard, and it cleared up. I'll report back if it happens again.

I did post about this already. Also posted on help.ea.com But its not your audio problems. I have my audio connected via optical cable to my surround sound and HDMI to my TV. Both are borked. My surround sound has a few lights saying what audio is coming through. The Dolby Digital EX flickers on and off indicating its not getting the input. Netflix and every other game work fine however.

EDIT: I did get to a checkpoint, where Psycho tells you to use the electric arrows, save and quit then i watched netflix for a while, then played again and the sound is ok for now. Ill update and see if it works more later.

Ya...try saving quitting and rebooting the xbox or game. Worked so far.

Yea I'm having the same issue. It's terrible I can't even enjoy the campaign with the audio the way it is! It just makes me want to through my headset at the wall! I hope this gets fixed.

Just tweeted EA Support -

AskEASupport: @shade360 The Crytek Team is investigating this currently. What type of Xbox 360 do you have? Newer Elite or the Classic white one? ^EX
