I use the bow and melee only and I don't camp with the bow lol.. if you hate it so much just snap their necks and get it over with. They will stop camping if you snap their necks a few times.
lol Yeah, because killing a camper and expecting him to stop works so well in every other game.
But seriously, I do agree with the people who said campers paid their money and they can play however they want to play. On the other hand, the game shouldn't be encouraging it, and that's what it's doing. I don't believe it is necessarily the fault of the bow, either. The stealth being nerfed hard from Crysis 2, with no modules to accommodate that pop in pop out playstyle coupled with the larger maps really pushes more people toward camping. What really gets me about the whole thing is that it basically locks down the maps. Crysis 2 had hot spots, yes, but generally speaking, players were all over the map. In Crysis 3, I generally only encounter the enemy (TDM) in structures around the outsides of the map, because campers have the rest of the map locked down. That wouldn't be a problem at all if you could sprint in cloak for more than 7 seconds. In Crysis 2, I had a lot of options for how I wanted to play the game, but in Crysis 3 it's like we're being pushed toward a more Call of Duty style of play.
I'm playing the "pop in, pop out" style you suggest, and having no problems. I might run out of cloak energy here and there, but nothing major. That being said, bow campers do svck.
