While playing Crysis 3 online on my stepson's PS3 Slim the game froze 3 times and had to do a system restore all 3 times. I then decided to play it on my old PS3 which I got it when it was first released. After a few online matches it froze then after a few seconds the PS3 just shut off and the red light was blinking. Tried to do a hard reset. It did turn on but it only got to the PS3 logo screen and it shut off. That's when I saw it... YLOD!! I thought of the question: "Can it run Crysis 3?" I never had any problems with other games and both PS3s are well ventilated and every now and then cleared of all dust. I'm wondering if any one else has this problem after playing Crysis 3 on the PS3.

No one game causes the YLOD. When it's going to happen it's going to happen regardless of which game you're playing. Some games are more taxing on your PS3 than others and may cause wear and tear over time though.
