hi guys,

i have a asus 7970 card and a piledriver 8350, 8 gb ram and windows 7 64bit. i am getting really bad framerate, using fraps its about 28-30. sometimes it will go up to 44 but goes back down again when i move or do anything? i have put my setting s down to medium and turned off anti aliasing and still i get 30 in fraps. i thought i could at least play this game on high settings, i can play crysis 2 on high to extreme settings.

i have the latest 13.2 6beta drivers installed.

can anyone help please or just let me know that the game needs a patch or something coz this is just silly.

i do not have anything overclocked.

what REZ? and demanding game is demanding. Crytek promised a pc meltdown

its on 1920x1080 i play all my games on this rez. i know they said it would be a demanding game but chnaging the settings to medium and have the anti aliasing off and still having poor performance is over the top. its not right

There's a difference...

C1 was fair enough because absolutely spectacular visuals and it melted PC - ok, no problems..

c3.. not a massive improvement graphics wise from C2 yet it hits on our PC hard... its like crytek wanted to make it melt our PC just for the sake of it or for some new saying "can it run c3?"

it doesnt work bc the game/graphics have to balance out on the load of the pc

although i have no right to say because no doubt a lot of new extra stuff has been implemeted but its just there in the sub-visuals rather than first hand so i guess it works out ok (yes i know that contradicted what i previously said)

but they do need to optimize this game better...
