Not sure if its my PS3 or Crysis itself, but right after about approximately the 5th or 6th checkpoint it locks up/freezes. I can turn around and go back to another area but as soon as I pass that point around a rock it crashes.. Every single time.

No corrupted data, never shut it off with a save in progress, either.

As far as I can tell I dont think I can revert to a previous save - only restart the mission which isnt a big deal.

maybe your copy has something wrong, why don't you ask for another copy where you bough it? ...

That didnt even come across my mind.. Going to try it on another ps3 today to see if I get the same problem.
