Yup, still lurking!
In answer to your questions...

1. That poor soul is Misfit, aka Paul Fitton. It is strange that the visor can't scan him, isn't it? Mind you, he's not the only character in the game that Prophet can't scan...

2 & 3. Well spotted. Something strange has happened to CELL's data on Nomad if you look carefully through all the collectable intel. Lots of it seems to have been redacted at some point between C1 and C3. And that's not the only odd thing in there either - is Prophet really the last nanosuit?
Have you collected ALL the intel? Maybe look again...

3. Hargreave never approved of the experiments Rasch was conducting on himself, but he had no idea about the true 'side affects' of Rasch's work.

Thanks for the Qs and glad you enjoyed the story.

Tara Strickland is the senator you hear at the end of the game!

I'm more confused about Rasch.

He used to be one of the bosses of Crynet, yet now he's a rebel? But he's also with the Ceph and apparently helped Cell create System X? Pick a side, Rasch.

How exactly was he using Ceph DNA to keep himself alive?

I think he quit because he knew the Cells bad intentions so he deleted all his research to prevent Cell from using it, he was responsible for Prophets escape cause he knew he was the only one capable of fighting the ceph

lol why were the ceph on earth in the first place.. to exterminate humanity before it existed? xd And why can't the homeworld ceph send more lithoships? :/

Yeah but apparently he's been corrupted by the Ceph hive mind, and was using Prophet to further his "Ceph plan."

I actually think the idea is pretty cool, just wish it would have been slightly more fleshed out.

That said, Crysis 2 story strayed so far from the original, that I have to give the Crysis 3 writer some credit for trying to bring it all back around. I actually liked the ending.

Also, I thought hanging Raptor Teams dog tags from your bow was a nice touch, besides also looking awesome.

Also, where are all the civilians? Where was our government (Senator Strickland) located? Did Washington DC have a Nanodome over it?

***SPOILERS BELOW***

I liked Crysis 2 story as well (I've beat that game at least 10 times) but this one felt more engaging... I think mostly because Prophet actually talks. For example right in the beginning, Psych hands you the bow and asks if you like it, to which Prohpet says, "No." The relationship between Psycho and Prophet (and to a lesser extent Claire and Psycho) was THE highlight of the story for me.

You get the dog tags in a mission to the skinning lab where Psycho and many other nanosuit users were stripped of their suits. Psycho finds them and throws them in your face while in an argument.
