Ludo was in the movie Labyrinth, which is a pretty awesome film tbh. Gotta love Jim Henson puppetry :P

Tell him what you don't like so he can improve it.
I don't like the colour of the ogre atm, it doesn't compliment the creature very well imo. I think a desaturated blue or green might be better maybe?

I like the general texture but I agree, a bluish color would be an improvement. I actually would like a blue-gray that is slightly bluer than Oblivion ogres.

This is the undead version of the ogre and color sceme is similar to wounds and dead flesh. Too much blue and it will look like a smurf, lol!!! ;)

Those newest screens are of an undead style ogre eh? Very "Resident Evil" - it's going to be startling to bump into one of those in the dark. As for the troll... it's interesting, and somewhat comical. I assume they won't be especially hostile?

Don't want to be a [censored] TDW, but can you make the living ogre first, and the undead one a little later?
It's a little pointless to have an undead ogre without normal one. :P

Plus that way, we can make edits to the normal ogre to make it more undead looking, without having to redo the skinning (which I probably will have to do with my rigging methods if I have to start with two different models).

@Tronvillian: We'll have to name it something other than troll, and I don't think every creature has to be completely hostile, so it probably wont be too hostile.

IMHO it doesn't really matter which version of the ogre I do first. There's month, maybe years of time left until release of the mod and before that the ogre isn't needed anyways, right?! ;) Another thing is that I personally can be more productive, if I can switch between the single models I'm working on and choose myself what to work on at which time. There are days, where I want to work on this and days, where I prefer working on that. This kinda personal freedom is what keeps me going and prevents me from getting tired or bored. IIRC creatures are no priority at the moment, so it should be fine, if I finish the undead version first!!! :)

Also, as I create all my textures in Photoshop with all features on different layers, it does cost me only some seconds to turn an undead ogre into a normal one, or even make it a squirrel if necessary!!! :P

It'd be more conveniant to have the normal one first, but if you want to make the undead one first, that's fine as long as you make the normal one afterwards too.
I think the undead ogre should have mesh edits, nothing fancy, just something like a booleal on some areas so we can have chunks of flesh missing and bones showing through, you know, standard zombie stuff.
