I am having a lot of issues with Crysis 3 which is sad as it is one of my favourite game series. First off the problems i am having involve a poor framerate and screentearing. Another issue is with my mouse which seems to be very sluggish. One thing to note is the PC has two graphics carrds, i am not sure how this affects the performance Given the specs of my computer I would have thought i could run it on medium to high, maybe not ultra high. However this is not the case, the lag makes the game unplayable. The mouse problem also ruins the game as aiming is nigh on impossible. One thing i have found is the tutorial ran quite smoothly on high (the mouse still poses a problem). I am planning on buying an xbox controller for my pc and was wondering if this would alleviate the problem. If somebody could please take the time to explain to me what is going on and if there are any solutions, present or future, i would much appreciate it. If no solution exists i will return the game however i am hesitant to do so as the game looks superb.

Have you tried running on the lowest settings? Have you tried turning anti-aliasing down to FXAA? Enabling V-sync should get rid of screen tearing, but it will cause a little bit of input lag.
