There are some things that shouldn't exist.
Marshall is broke as hell in its current form.
Hip-fire, laser sights or not, should be - at best - 1 in 10 bullets unless range is less than 3M. As it stands, every single bullet hits, period.
Rapid fire perk should be removed.
There's no point to heavy machine guns in a game that isn't vehicle based. Thankfully, they have a long reload time.
Flash grenades should blind opponents, not stop their movement.
All weapons should have recoil at all times, period. Watch SDub play, you'll see what I mean. He's all but rapid firing Grendel with no recoil and at a rate that seems insane. <-- I'm not calling "hax", but rather using this to enforce my point: WEAPONS HAVE RECOIL. I get it, nano-suits; I agree that reducing recoil is good, but even so, these guns should ride up and out like mad minus perks and only be mitigated with them. Whatever some folks are using reduces recoil to zero. Which makes the combo broken.
I have video after video of people killing at 10M+ with Marshall using only 3 shots. And this is since the "patch". This needs to stop.
Jumping should make the crosshairs nigh-upon useless, unless you're sighted down. As it stands, this is the thing that makes Marshall even crazier.
As it is, I prefer the bow. Generally, I respect other players who also use it almost solely; it's the only skill-reliant weapon in the game at the moment. Every other weapon is "spam-fire with broken perks till they die" and annoys me somewhat. What is really annoying is when I get a hit marker from hitting someone with a full draw on my bow, drop down, melee them and they live with 70 health and full 100% Armor **looks at SDub** and they not only live, but turn and take me out with one burst from Grendel (not to the head either) when my armor and health are both 100%. Since I'm confident ol' boy is playing straight (had an easier time killing him in a later match) it makes me think something on the servers is glitching. I had another match later on (no SDub present in that one) wherein it took 7 arrows back-to-back to kill anyone on the enemy team; meanwhile, they were murdering us with one bullet. I left that server, hopped on another one (with many of the same players) and didn't have that problem anymore. In short, I'm pretty sure something was wonky with the servers. Some servers I have no problems doing at least passably, while on other servers - with many of the exact same players - the enemy team is nigh-on invincible.
But whatever. If I get too annoyed with it, I'll find a more worthy game to play. Since I'm bored with the rest at the moment, this one will do fine.
But the hip-fire thing needs to be fixed right-dang-now. No one can hip-fire and expect to hit a darned thing with any degree of accuracy in any other game or in RL. Crysis 3 shouldn't be so wildly different. Yet it is. ***Shaking my head with disappointment***
