Sound design in this game is so bad...

Why is it that you can hear someone shooting from all the way across the map but if there is someone directly behind you 3 feet away shooting you in the back you don't hear anything and you wonder why you fall over and die & you watch the killcam & realized he was shooting you for 10 seconds from 3 feet away but you had no idea unless you were wearing auto armor? I think this is the problem when people talk about how they seem to just fall over and die from nothing and then they have to watch the killcam to realize they were being shot at for so long it's not lag so much as it's terrible sound design especially if you're in cloak mode where everything is even more silent around you. No audible, visual or vibration clues letting you know someone is shooting & hitting you is unacceptable.
