I saw in a loading screen for Dead Money that said something along the lines of 'There are many legends in the wasteland. The Sierra Madre, The Burned Man, The Big Empty and the survivors of The Divide'.
This thread is for the thoughts of those places and what do you think of them.
What really intrested me is 'The survivors of The Divide' What happened at The Divide?
I think Ulysses has something to do with The Divide as when you speak to Johnson Nash he says "I hope twisters from The Divide skin him alive"
I can't wait to find the answers.

Thats what Lonesome Road is about Ulysses and the Courier fight there.
The burned man or Joshua graham , Caesars former legate will be in New Canaan in the second Dlc honest hearts.

Two-to-one just means getting shot in the head, with a hint of Vault 21 thrown in.

If he's drunk he still bilks you out of several hundred caps.

why would he refer twice to the same event?

What happened at the Divide?
Did it get attacked or something?
Who is the survivor of Vault 11?
So many questions

That's just repetition in the character's dialogue to indicate his struggle for clarity. There's honestly no hidden meaning to that wordplay other than a vague inference to Vault 21.

Maybe in one of these dcls the courier will remember who he really is. That would kind of cool. Even when Nash says that line your video game guy seems like he still really doesn t know who he really is.

from what i remember when talking to whats his face i dont know if it was legate or someone else but he says remarks about the courier being shot twice in the face and living, what if you (the courier) has amnesia *dramatic classical music*

Sharon Rose cassidy talks about the twisters of the divide when yout talk top her about dynamite.

Cass says something along about twisters from the Divide blocking caravan roads and she has to use dynamite.

I'm guessing the Divde is very very windy.

anyway, i hope that were not completely wrong about the dlcs.. lol, that would be hilarious, like, honest hearts is about some mutants taking over the world, and all the others have nothing to do with anything.... i would be pretty mad about that. o.o

I have a feeling that "survivors at the Divide" is referring to Ulysses and the Courier, just that they become legends in the future. Maybe The Divide has a war and Ulysses aren't the only 2 players. I suppose we'll see.

how about the enclave, they have a small part in the game, were so close to theyre home base that there has to be a dlc about them. theres so much more stuff they could have done with the game it seems like this whole game is fo3 with more glitches and a few things retextured with a weak story line

Their home base was nuked and their main land base fell to NCR.
