I've suddenly stopped "feeling" the multiplayer.

Maybe it's because I played so much of the Beta.

I'm a bow user exclusively and I have to say that perhaps 60-70% of the time the game is a blast but there some things that are off for me and perhaps it's simply coming from a bow-user's point of view but I find it worth discussing since it is a main selling point of the game.

- The levels feel too cramped.
- Some maps favor certain weapons above others while non seem to complement snipers (opinion).
- Weapons like the Typhoon and the Alpha Jackel outweigh other weapons.
- The bow is simply not viable weapon.
- "Maximum" game modes are boring camp-fests.
- Crash Site is no place for snipers this time round.
- The bow is near impossible to use on some maps (Skyline, Chinatown to name a few).
- Little to no reward for skill.

None of these things are Crytek's fault but it's how the game is starting to become. I'll continue to play because in the end it's fun does flag some thoughts about how this have turned out.

Maybe you'd prefer to feel Dees.

It's probably frustrating for you because of 90% of the players using Auto Armor

Yeah its funny how people cry about bow users, but it is hard to go up against gunmen with it. You gotta creep around and try to hit people running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. Take pride in what you do. Its not for everyone. To get that kill with a bow means your working your tail off. Very rewarding. I love it. If only there were no auto armor...... but still people will say its overpowered. I say try a bow and see how quick you run back to a gun...

I am just a melee player and I feel your pain with the bow.. I hardly ever shoot it at all. It is so easy just to snap everyone's neck. The only person I shoot is the idiots that go in the VTOL or just sit in the open.

Auto armor doesn't affect stealth kills thank god.

Let me know if you want to play sometime.

It's not that I can't kill with the bow. Last time in Maximum TD I got 7800 points putting me on top. This isn't completely about the bow either... I'm not too sure what I want to say here.

I think the problem overall is the like of balance in the game. We have maps like Hydro (Dam)? China Town, Skyline, Caverns which are just so cramped and like most of the maps they're are so close quarters that there isn't room to plan and so we end up with CoD like running around and whoever sees who first gets the kill. The maps should have the feel of the single player which where maps like Financial District, Williamsburg and Museum accel, they're open for medium to long range combat while there are corridors for close combat as well as long stretches of land for standoffs plus the places to camp are obvious and few.

I also wish that I could play Crash Site but because I'm a bow user it just doesn't work that way. I can't defend Crash Zones while standing nextto it because I can't shoot that fast even with Rapid Fire equipped.

I'm glad I can play a mode where Auto Armour doesn't affect my arrows because all my practice isn't for nothing and I'm landing double and triple kills very easily and I don't camp ever. In fact even when you see campers going 15-7 since the bow is OHK in Maximum TDM I end with even higher stats.
