Look, I just went to play, it was my first match I was in (hadn't played all weekend) and I actually was doing well so then I get people voting to vote kick me the entire match. 30 seconds before the match finshes I get vote kicked from the game from spoiled brats who can't compete. Why? Because I was playing well? I barely played 5 minutes of the game and already my experience was ruined by spoil sports. This is just ridiculous, this vote kicking is so heavily abused it's seriously ruining my experience with the game.

Vote kick is a misused tool.
You just witnessed what happens in a lot of games, they don't like how you play or just hate being killed by you, so the only thing they can do is cast a vote to kick you.

This can be good in case of facing a hacker, cheater or a rude guy over the headset. But a report function should work even better.

It svcks but i'd rather have the option there incase i run into someone cheating, sorry, but Crytek DON'T get rid of this feature.

I actually never see anyone get kicked from voting, my experience is usually an obvious cheater sitting in the server and every idiot in-game not voting yes -_- (not only in crysis, other games as well).

Damnit it almost happened again a third time. People are such retards this is out of control.

Yeah but you should make a counter kick system, OR AT LEAST announce who's initiating. It's being used to troll people like crazy. I'm basically forbidden from playing on a server because of a block of retards not wanting competition. Yeah well what's the chances of a hacker vs abusers, 1 in 10,000? less? Yeah i'd just go to another server but there wasn't any other with that particular gametype full of people. I just gave up after multiple kicks, just ruins the fun.

It's good for cheaters, but let's face it, people are going to use it to kick whoever they want, even if they aren't doing anything bad.
Just have a report option like in CoD. If there was a vote kick option in that game, all matches would end with 25% of the players.

Yeah exactly, a report feature would be much better.

I personally never vote yes, unless I am 100% sure that the guy in question is cheating. And I can tell you that I haven't seen a single person since beta.

On the other side, I was nominated 5-6 times during two matches in a row. And that is while Crytek actively stated that Anticheat is working and checking everyone.
I think there is even better option then report. Say, a global Anticheat is in game, but it's resources sometimes can't keep with cheaters. Make a button which channels anticheat test onto a person. Or even double-enchanced-no-way-this-hacker-can-avoid-getting-banned kind of test.

And then all people who like to rage-kick, will lose all unjust tools, but hackers will be dealt with as well.

Happened to me on open beta. The other team had 0 Crash Site points because they appearently wanted to play team deathmatch LOL
I had 100% of my team's crash site points, so they vote kicked me.
