Of course, there are still many locations in TES that we have yet to properly visit (those will most likely maintain top-priority), but I can't help but think how awesome it would be to go back to Cyrodiil and Skyrim and see it more how it's made out to be in the lore.
The same goes for Morrowind (haven't even really been to the mainland, barring 'Tribunal'), and EVEN Skyrim!
I know that seems kind of ridiculous, especially considering how much I love these games - but I just feel like it's unfair that these provinces get short-changed in certain aspects simply due to current hardware limitations as well as budgetary restraints.
I love Skyrim, but I feel that there are so many deep aspects of Nordic culture and landscape (read about in-game) that were seemingly lacking in the game.
I have to say that even TESO (judging from screenshots) seems to be providing a slightly more distinct/faithful representation of the seperate provinces & cultures.
Anyways, on the one hand I can see a return to Daggerfall making sense - seeing as how much it has aged beyond recognition - which is rather exciting, but I just hope that Skyrim and Cyrodiil aren't gonna be left behind like "Yeah, we covered that already."
A lot of this is simply me nit-picking, and I know it may seem far-fetched, but for such an ambitious series (and developers), I like to think that nothing is necessarily too far-fetched.
So, aside from my rambling, does anyone else kind of get where I'm coming from? I don't blame ya if you don't, but I just thought I'd share my thoughts/dreams on the future of this legendary franchise.
