controller performance on pc MP..anyone using it?

Dudes just checking if anyone here might be using a controller (gamepad instead of m&kb) on PC. I read one review stating that "it was almost as good on PC as m&kb". Any truth in that? Reason I am asking is that a few console buddies want to make the jump onto the PC version (for obvious reasons) and was wondering if they could be competitive with their controllers.....this is not a thread for m&kb is infinitely better or superior please...it is an honest question asked on behalf of mates. Thanks....btw I use m&kb

Well one thing to consider is that there is no aim assist which anyone who played on a console would be very much used to.

No.They will not be competitive with the controllers. You cannot be competitive with a controller that allows no muscle memory (constantly changing sensitivity) and the speed is capped, especially in a relatively fast shooter like this.

If they learn m/kb they will be glad they did in just about a week or two

I use a controller, don't really want to use a k/b & m whilst chilling on the sofa. game could benefit with some extra fine tuning left stick right stick slider options and some better gamepad mapping. I use a Cybord rumble pad v.5, a larger than xbox gamepad and the best xbox controller type gamepad.

ive used that controller before it is nice and beefy for sure......so a question to u then...do u find yourself being competitive against the m&kb players or did you just adapt a different play style?
